Ouch. Thorny vines and gray, rotting leaves. The scraggly and overgrown garden truly needs a makeover. My broken trowel is woefully inept at breaking up the hardened soil. The world spins me into a deep isolation, stripped of my values and desires. Just as threats of cold wrath and resentment brew, I turn to the concept of interdependence.
My latest commonplace topic yielded these major reasons to believe in workload shifting:
Timely Knowledge Sharing Asking for help opens up an informed dialogue about real-time needs. Oftentimes, I can discuss personal topics that are normally unspoken or hidden.
Joint Timetable Collaborating naturally creates interlocking schedules. We share a vision and absorb effort shifts and strains together.
Reallocation of Resources Some of my tasks and problems require skills outside of my wheelhouse. Involving others makes best use of a broader skill-base. More resources go toward needs than I, alone, could provide.
Energy Conservation Batching errands and delegating jobs can save time and money. Sometimes, another person can take up the slack when I am tired or busy.
Group Assurance Shared actions build confidence and commitment. Thus, my needs are more relatable and less isolating.
Predictable Outcomes Outcomes become more of a group investment. We then recognize success together through consistent, integrated work.
Happiness Quotient Group care comes through cooperative thought and doing. Contentment grows through valuable, need-based contributions. Our determination is married to core beliefs.
Universal Story
My needs always relate to the larger ethos. Remembering this, we can move together and lift our voices in worthy purpose.
Healthy autonomy actually relies on strong interdependence. Red-flag stressors are better understood by the group, not just me. Sharing workload makes for more honest and secure Everyday Living. Blessed is the moral beauty of serving the work of this world together.
