Tanked the test. Wounded the knee. Lost the match. Retired to bed over the thoughts. The landscape turned quite grizzly, really.
Leaving a barren landscape of no words. Surely, our hero is en route.
But, alas, artistic endeavors are… Clunky. Lacking. Vacant. Wandering in a disobedience all their own.
Oh, wait. A rebel is in the reigns. The clouds float aimlessly, calming the inner voice. The ivy climbs the wall. A tune stirs through the trees. The horses high step home.
Our hero hath returned.
Time and energy are always in a delicate balance. Yet, budgeting against illness, injury, and loss can end up zapping a vital source of coping—the creative self. At My Purple Dress, we hope to blend practicality and creativity to bring forth a stronger voice.
Creativity is cyclical. As it goes, many aspects of life can either destroy or produce creativity. You wear it like an ancient dress—imbued with language, culture, traditions, and beliefs.
